• February 8, 2024: Chief District Court Judge Elizabeth Trosch recently entered amendments to the General Civil Rules for the District Court Division of the 26th Judicial District and Local Rules Governing Non-Binding Court Ordered Arbitration in District Court Civil Actions of the 26th Judicial District. The amendments of the local rules were entered to comply with the requirements of Rule 5 of the North Carolina Rules of Civil Procedure. The amendments set forth in the administrative orders supersede any previously entered local rules.
